Forest Conservation Easements View

In the 2009 Maryland Legislative Session, HB972 was adopted. This bill sets requirements for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) to report on the size and location of conserved or planted forest in the State. In order to do this, MDNR now requires counties to submit their forest conservation easements yearly. The state requires 5 basic pieces of information: Date, File Number, FIPS Code, Type of Forest, and Area in Sq.Ft. The county has expanded the dataset to include as much information from our records as possible. The data uses survey material to complete the easements as accurately as possible.This dataset will eventually cover the year 1994 to present.

2009年马里兰州立法会议通过了HB972号法案。该法案要求马里兰州自然资源部（Maryland Department of Natural Resources, MDNR）就本州内受保护或人工营造的森林的规模与空间分布情况提交专项报告。为落实该法案要求，马里兰州自然资源部现已要求各郡县每年提交其辖区内的森林保护地役权相关材料。该州规定需报送5项基础信息：日期、档案编号、联邦信息处理标准代码（FIPS Code）、森林类型以及面积（单位：平方英尺）。各郡县已对本数据集进行扩充，尽可能纳入其档案记录中的全部可用相关信息。本数据集依托专业勘测资料，以尽可能精准地完善各项地役权相关内容。该数据集最终将覆盖1994年至今的全部时段数据。
