This dataset contains demographic and demographic change statistics from the 2000 social and economic survey of Fengning County, a model county for the Beijing-Tianjin Sandstorm Source Control Project. The recorded indicators include: township code, township name, total number of households, total population, male population, female population, non-agricultural population among the total population, population without permanent residence registration in the total population, total live births from January 1 to December 31, male live births, female live births, total number of unregistered children among all live births, unregistered children born within the current year among all live births, total number of deaths from January 1 to December 31, male deaths, female deaths, intra-provincial in-migration, inter-provincial in-migration, intra-provincial out-migration, inter-provincial out-migration, and other related records. In addition, the 2000 social and economic survey data for each township in Fengning County also covers the following contents: area distribution of land use types in each township, public finance and financial status, gross national product, gross industrial and agricultural product, population structure and employment situation of Fengning County, climate data of Fengning County, livestock production status of each township, number of livestock enclosures in each township, grassland grade statistics of Fengning County, and land desertification status of Fengning County.
