Data Package: Task 5.3 – Interview Transcripts and Notes – Turkey – Implementation

For this task, 14 semi-structured interviews were conducted in Turkey (in English or Turkish) with stakeholders including embassies, liaison offices, international organizations, and immigration authorities. All interviews were transcribed or documented through notes and translated into English when necessary. The interviews focused on stakeholders’ views on return migration and their involvement in the implementation of EU+ return policy. The questionnaire covered topics such as perceptions of return and cooperation, day-to-day work on return-related matters, and the mandate and activities of diplomatic staff. The total size of all interview transcript and notes files (.docx) is approximately 5.3 MB. Anonymized interview transcripts will remain closed for the following reasons: 1) lack of interviewee(s) consent to share data beyond consortium 2) high risk of de-identification due to small size of researched community, 3) high sensitivity of the topics discussed (mostly related to return migration diplomacy and interstate relations).
