We tackle persistent crime and anti-social behaviour (ASB), mainly on rear alleyways, by installing lockable gates to restrict access. This page includes data on the alleygates in York For further information please visit [City of York Council's website](https://www.york.gov.uk/AlleyGating). *Please note the ‘in_pspo’ field included within the data indicates whether or not the alleygate was installed using a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO). 1 = yes, the alleygate was installed using a PSPO. 0 = no, the alleygate was installed using a different legal Order. For more information, please contact alleygating@york.gov.uk **Please note that the data published within this dataset is a live API link to CYC's GIS server. Any changes made to the master copy of the data will be immediately reflected in the resources of this dataset. The date shown in the ""Last Updated"" field of each GIS resource reflects when the data was first published.
