To study the transcriptional profiling of seedling roots under different solution pH stresses in winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). We identify genes that are differentially expressed in response to different solution pH (4.0 and 10.0) comparing with control pH 6.5 using microarray technology. Seeds of wheat Bainongaikang 58 (AK58) were synchronously germinated by pre-incubation and plants were grown in containers in deionized water (DIW, pH 6.5). At the one-leaf stage wheat seedlings were treated with pH 4.0 and 10.0 DIW, respectively. The seedling roots of a 2 h time point under pH 4.0, 2 and 24 h under pH10.0 were chosen to capture genes with early responses and were compared with those at the 0 h time point as the control (CK). Three biological replicates were used in each treatment time point.
