Body temperature of Aardvarks in the Kalahari and meteorological data

This file provides the body temperature of four aardvarks (Orycteropus afer) recorded in 2012-2013 in the South African Kalahari (Tswalu Game Reserve) and black globe temperature measured on site. Data were recorded at a 30 min interval. Body temperature was recorded using miniaturized data logger implanted surgically. Three of the aardvarks died during the course of the study, one did survive the planned year.

本数据集包含2012—2013年于南非卡拉哈里地区特斯瓦卢野生动物保护区（Tswalu Game Reserve）采集的4只土豚（Orycteropus afer）的体温数据，以及现场实测的黑球温度（black globe temperature）。数据采样间隔为30分钟，其中体温数据通过手术植入的微型数据记录仪获取。本研究周期内，3只土豚死亡，仅1只存活至预设的1年研究周期结束。
