SERC Meteorological Data

These data sets contain vetted and filled meteorological data from a tower-based sensor array and a forest floor array for the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center in Edgewater, Maryland. The data currently cover the period of 2002 to 2019. Data include minute data and daily values for both the tower and forest floor. There are also two meta-data files: Readme.html and Updater.html. Readme.html introduces the basics of the offered datasets and explains variables and an overview of gap-filling. Updater.html offers a more detailed description of how data were collected, collated, vetted, adjusted / edited, and gap-filled. Most users will benefit from the base data files and the Readme.html. Instructions on citing the data are in Readme.html.

本数据集包含经审核并完成间隙填补的气象数据，数据源自美国马里兰州埃奇沃特市史密森尼环境研究中心（Smithsonian Environmental Research Center）的塔式传感器阵列与林地表传感器阵列。当前数据集的时间覆盖范围为2002年至2019年。两类传感器阵列均提供分钟级数据与日值数据。本数据集附带两份元数据（meta-data）文件：Readme.html与Updater.html。其中，Readme.html将介绍本数据集的基本概况，对各变量进行说明，并概述数据间隙填补流程；Updater.html则会更详细地阐述数据的采集、整理、审核、校正编辑以及间隙填补全流程。绝大多数用户仅需基础数据文件与Readme.html即可满足研究需求，数据引用说明均收录于Readme.html中。
