Gulf of Mexico 1 km resolution numerical model simulation with USGS observed river flows, January-February 2016

The model represents the 3D temperature, salinity, velocity and surface elevation of the Gulf of Mexico during the CONCORDE survey time period from January through February 2016. This dataset includes the Navy Coastal Ocean Model (NCOM). This research was made possible by a grant from BP/The Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative. River forcing is based on observed USGS transports and observed water temperatures.
