In 2016, Wellcome commissioned Kantarpublic to run the Science Education Tracker, an online random sample survey representing young people (years 10-13) at state schools in England. The survey covers a range of themes such as views about science and other subjects at schools, attainment, practical science, careers aspirations and science outside. Approximately 4000 young people responded, with a response rate of 50%
