Herbert River Lucinda Jetty Turbidity Data Transect Monday 9th February 2004

The objective of the research reported in this thesis was to develop a technique to monitor the dynamics of sediments and nutrients entering the coastal ocean with river plumes associated with high intensity low frequency events (e.g. floods), using ocean colour remote sensing. The data collected included suspended sediment concentration (TSS) and turbidity profiles.

本学位论文所载研究的目标为，开发一套基于海洋色遥感的技术方法，用以监测伴随高强度低频事件（如洪水）的河羽流所携带的沉积物与营养盐进入近岸海域的动态变化过程。所采集的数据包括悬浮泥沙浓度（Total Suspended Solids, TSS）与浊度剖面。
