Here, we provide genome-wide summary statistics from our study: Genome-wide association meta-analysis and rare copy number variant analysis of treatment-resistant depression (TRD). We studied the genetic architecture of TRD, defined as major depressive disorder (MDD) with adequate antidepressant trial followed by electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), representing a severe subset of TRD cases. The data include results from genome-wide association meta-analyses of TRD risk (2,062 TRD cases vs. 441,037 healthy controls) and treatment resistance within MDD (2,062 TRD cases vs. 38,544 non-TRD cases), encompassing both common variant and copy number variation (CNV) analyses.
