The relative importance of artificial shelters on vertebrate communities and microclimate in deserts.

We examined microclimate at artificial shelters, natural shrubs, and in the open across four sites in Southwestern California, USA. The study was done in the spring and winter of 2022-2023. We camera trapped at each site during each year to examine local vertebrate communities.

本研究针对美国加利福尼亚州西南部的四个样地，分别在人工庇护所、天然灌丛与开阔生境中开展微气候观测。本次研究的时段为2022-2023年的春季与冬季。此外，本研究于各监测样地的对应时段内布设红外相机，以调查当地脊椎动物群落组成。
