This dataset is a simulated pedagogical resource for monitoring water storage dynamics using earth observation data and data-driven models, applied to a large Moroccan river context. The data includes monthly measurements across multiple river sections (S1, S2, S3) with the following variables:- storage_volume_m3: simulated water storage volume- precipitation_mm: monthly precipitation- evapotranspiration_mm: evapotranspiration- satellite_index: NDWI index simulated from satellite data- data_driven_alert: binary alert flag (0 = normal, 1 = critical)- quality_flag: data quality indicator (1 = good, 2 = doubtful, 3 = bad) Data characteristics:- Fully simulated (no real-world measurements)- Small volume: 100-300 rows, CSV format- Includes intentional anomalies for pedagogical purposes (missing values, outliers, duplicates, format inconsistencies)- Accompanied by a complete README file documenting cleaning procedures Educational use case: This dataset is designed for training in data management, data cleaning, and hydrological data analysis.
