The relief map of the State of Brandenburg is a plastic elevation view made on the basis of the Digital Terrain Model (DGM). As a land area, Brandenburg belongs to the North German lowland and, like this, has only relatively small elevation differences. The heights, e.g. of Märkische Schweiz or the great plain of the Oderbruch, appear here, as in no other map, clearly as a shadow-plastic relief image.
