Seed biomass from shallow coastal water areas from Texas through Alabama, 2013-2015

This projects primary goal was to provide data on biomass of potential seed resources located within shallow water coastal areas within fresh to saline coastal waters of the northern Gulf of Mexico. The data set provides biomass of seeds, by species or lowest practical taxon from 2013, 2014 and 2015 across 384 randomly selected sites located in shallow water coastal areas. The data were collected between June and September of each year. This data set can be merged with a dataset which reports submerged aquatic vegetation and environmental data collected at the same time (La Peyre et al. 2017; https://doi.org/10.5068/F7GH9G44).

本项目的核心目标是为墨西哥湾北部淡水至咸水近岸水域的浅水区内潜在种子资源的生物量提供相关数据。本数据集涵盖2013、2014及2015年的数据，包含384个随机选取的近岸浅水区采样点中，按物种或最精细可行分类单元统计的种子生物量。数据采集时间为每年6月至9月。本数据集可与同期采集的沉水水生植被及环境数据数据集合并使用（La Peyre等，2017；https://doi.org/10.5068/F7GH9G44）。
