Dataset - Amazon river plume-ocean interaction shapes CO2 exchange across the western tropical Atlantic
收藏资源简介:
The Data Set S1 includes all gridded input variables, calculated air-sea $\text{CO}_2$ flux ($\text{FCO}_2$), spatial domain boundaries, and implementation scripts required to reproduce the Generalized Additive Models (GAMs) presented in "Amazon river plume-ocean interaction shapes CO2 exchange across the western tropical Atlantic" article. The repository consists of three main components: Gridded Environmental Variables and Fluxes (.nc files): Content: Monthly NetCDF-4 files spanning 84 months (January 2015 to December 2021) for each modeled variable: air-sea CO2 flux (FCO2), atmospheric CO2 mole fraction ({xCO2), 10m wind speed (U10), sea surface temperature (SST), sea surface salinity (SSS), seawater pH, and net primary production (NPP). Grid Specifications: All variables are provided at the finalized spatial resolution of 0.5° × 0.625° post-interpolation (nearest-neighbor) and temporal aggregation, ready for modeling. Spatial Geographic Boundaries (Shapefiles): Total Domain (.shp): Defines the full spatial extent of the modeling domain. Sub-regions (.shp): Polygon shapefiles outlining the sub-regions defined for regional-scale driver contribution and spatial variance analyses. Statistical Modeling Scripts (.R): Executable R Code: Contains the full implementation of the GAMs using the mgcv package. Includes data preprocessing (standardization u = 0, sigma = 1), REML model fitting assuming a scaled t-distribution, AIC computation, deviance evaluation, concurvity diagnostic tests, and partial term variance calculations for driver importance.
