PEMF treatment effects on horse blood parameters

Pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy is frequently used in the horse industry. However, its effects on equine physiology are not well understood. This study investigates the short-term <i>in vivo </i>effects of PEMF on the hematological and biochemical parameters of sport horses to fill knowledge gaps and guide the safe and effective use of PEMF therapy in equine care.In this study, active sport horses underwent PEMF therapy (Equi Terra, model EMC-230928/1) over five consecutive days using a full-body blanket and blood samples were collected before and after treatment to evaluate 72 hematological, biochemical, and endocrine parameters.

脉冲电磁场（Pulsed Electromagnetic Field，PEMF）疗法在马术行业中应用较为普遍。然而，其对马科动物生理机能的影响尚未得到充分阐明。本研究旨在探究脉冲电磁场疗法对运动马血液学、生化及内分泌指标的短期体内（in vivo）效应，以填补相关认知空白，为PEMF疗法在马科动物护理中的安全有效应用提供指导。
本研究中，活跃运动马连续5天采用全身式治疗毯，接受Equi Terra品牌、型号为EMC-230928/1的PEMF疗法，并于治疗前后采集血液样本，对72项血液学、生化及内分泌指标进行检测评估。
