资源简介:

This dataset provides figure-level source data, supporting tables, documentation, and offline reproduction code for the manuscript “Directly Observed Ambient Aerosol Scattering Phase Functions During Hygroscopic Growth: Sensitivity of Shortwave Radiative Fluxes to Angular Redistribution.” The package supports Figures 1–7, Supporting Information Figures S1–S3, and Supporting Information Table S9. It contains campaign statistics for 1,511 quality-controlled ambient aerosol phase-function profiles, data for the 108-profile humidification sequence observed on 26–27 October 2025, 18 independent matched SMPS/Mie states, and radiative-transfer outputs for nine prescribed AOD–SZA calculation nodes. At each AOD–SZA node, 108 observed angular states were evaluated, yielding 972 node–state outputs. The charge-coupled device–laser aerosol detection system (CLADS) measured ambient aerosol angular scattering at the Gucheng rural site on the North China Plain during the 2025 Fog-MIRACLE campaign. The common retained analysis sector spans scattering angles of 15°–163°. Native angular limits varied slightly among profiles. The unresolved 0°–15° and 163°–180° angular tails were completed using the procedure documented in the manuscript and are not direct observations. The completed phase functions were normalized over 0°–180° before calculation of the aerosol asymmetry factor, g. The package includes campaign RH-bin statistics, the selected-event phase functions and g values, matched Dry and κ-growth Mie calculations, prescribed-condition bottom-of-atmosphere and top-of-atmosphere shortwave radiative flux differences, AOD–SZA sensitivity outputs, and the source data used for the Supporting Information robustness analyses.
