This publication offers the necessary data and scripts to replicate the findings of the article titled "Resonance modes in microstructured photonic waveguides: Efficient and accurate computation based on AAA rational approximation" [1]. The focus is on the computation of significant eigenvalues and corresponding eigenvectors using scattering simulations from a black-box solver only. This approach, based on the AAA algorithm [2], is employed to determine two dominant modes of a microstructured photonic waveguide. Requirements JCMsuite (tested with version 6.4.8) MATLAB (tested with version R2023b) In order to run the simulations with JCMsuite you must replace corresponding place holders with a path to your installation of JCMsuite. Free trial licenses are available, please refer to the homepage of JCMwave. Usage Running the script main.m leaving the structure of the directory untouched will produce plots equivalent to the figures 3 and 4 of the paper.
