Every case of Ductal Carcinoma in situ (stage 0 breast cancer) is treated in the US whether it is aggressive or indolent. Our objective was to identify biomarkers of indolence vs aggressiveness in DCIS using mass spectrometry of the nuclear matrix combined with RNA sequencing on novel patient derived cell extended explants.
