本数据是西藏的森林资源与可持续发展数据西藏高原珍稀保护野生动物种数分布统计，数据年份为2004年，统计了西藏高原珍稀保护野生动物的类别、全区个数、以及各个分区（林芝、山南、昌都、日喀则、拉萨、阿里、那曲）野生动物个数。
This dataset is a statistical survey on the species distribution of rare and protected wild animals on the Tibetan Plateau, which falls under the scope of Tibet's forest resources and sustainable development data. The data was compiled in 2004, and records the taxonomic categories of rare and protected wild animals on the Tibetan Plateau, the total number of such species across the entire Tibet Autonomous Region, as well as the species counts of these wild animals in each administrative division: Nyingchi, Shannan, Chamdo, Xigazê, Lhasa, Ngari, and Nagqu.
