This study reports the prokaryotic compositional profile of Porphyra umbilicalis and Porphyra dioica (Atlantic Nori) microbiome across its life cycle in a land-based integrated multi-trophic aquaculture (IMTA) system. Algae biomass and surrounding seawater of three different production stages were sequenced using Illumina platform via metabarcoding - 16S gene amplicon sequencing.
