This dataset documents the entries of construction and installation engineering price indices in the socio-economic statistical data of Beijing, a demonstration province for the Beijing-Tianjin Sandstorm Source Control Project, with base years set as 1978=100, 1985=100, 1990=100 and 1999=100, among others. As the national political, cultural and economic hub of China, Beijing is covered by this dataset, which compiles socio-economic statistical data of all its districts and counties in 2002 across various domains including finance and fiscal affairs, industrial and agricultural production, science, education, public health, infrastructure construction, residents' living standards, basic urban and rural conditions, population structure, employee employment and tourism economy. This dataset comprehensively reflects the socio-economic development status of Beijing.
