Development and application of TSS-seq2, a method for detecting transcription start sites with high specificity.. Eukaryota

We develop TSS-seq2, a method for detecting transcription start sites (TSS) with high specifity. To benchmark performance of TSS-seq2, we performed TSS-seq2 from 5 ng-5 ug of total RNA of A549. As comparison data, we also performed TSS-seq1 from the same material. Furthermore, to demonstrate the performance of TSS-seq2, we constructed several catalogs of TSS in four plant species.To evaluate the TSS data, we also performed RNA-seq using the same plant samples.
