The VOT-RGBT 2019 Challenge was a Visual Object Tracking benchmark focused on RGB + thermal tracking, aimed at evaluating short-term trackers that can use both visible and infrared information. It was introduced as one of two new challenges in the VOT2019 suite, alongside VOT-RGBD2019.
The VOT-RGBT2019 dataset was introduced specifically for this challenge, and the evaluation followed the standard VOT protocol with metrics such as accuracy, robustness, and EAO. The challenge results were presented at the ICCV 2019 VOT workshop, and 81 trackers were reported across the full VOT2019 benchmark.
