ZNIEFF are Natural Zones of Ecological, Floristic and Faunistic Interest. The sectors that may be affected cover the entire national, land, river and marine territory. They must be of particular ecological interest, in particular because of the balance or richness of the ecosystems they constitute, the presence of rare and endangered plant or animal species.ZNIEFF（即具有生态、植物区系与动物区系重要性的自然区域，Natural Zones of Ecological, Floristic and Faunistic Interest）。可能受影响的区域覆盖全国范围内的陆地、河流与海洋全域领土。此类区域需具备特殊生态价值，尤其体现在其所构成的生态系统的平衡性与丰富度，以及栖息其中的珍稀濒危动植物物种方面。
