Breast cancer, the most common cancer in women, is characterized by high morbidity and mortality worldwide. Recent evidence has shown that long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play a crucial role in the development and progression of breast cancer. However, despite increasing data and evidence indicating the implication of lncRNAs in breast cancer, no web resource or database exists primarily for lncRNAs associated with only breast cancer.

乳腺癌是女性群体中最常见的恶性肿瘤，在全球范围内均具有较高的发病率与死亡率。近年来已有研究证实，长链非编码RNA（long non-coding RNAs, lncRNAs）在乳腺癌的发生发展进程中发挥关键调控作用。尽管目前已有越来越多的数据与研究证据表明lncRNAs与乳腺癌存在密切关联，但目前尚无专门针对仅与乳腺癌相关的lncRNAs的网络资源或数据库。
