Plant Community Structure and i-Tree Carbon Sink Data from Bailuyuan Park, Suzhou, China

This dataset supports the study “Effects of Plant Community Structural Factors on Carbon Sink Performance in Urban Green Spaces.” Data were collected from 40 representative 20 m × 20 m plots in Bailuyuan Park, Suzhou, China. The dataset includes plot-level plant community characteristics, including community type, vertical structure, canopy closure, community density, mean DBH, mean height, mean crown width, and species diversity indices, together with annual carbon sequestration and carbon storage estimated using the i-Tree Eco model. It also contains the underlying woody vegetation records used for i-Tree analysis, including individually measured woody plants and shrub patches. The dataset provides the field and model-derived data used to examine relationships between plant community structural factors and carbon sink performance in the study.
