This FAIRsharing record describes: The CARS database hosts the Close AGN Reference Survey (CARS), a scientific archive of spatially-resolved, multi-wavelength observations of nearby active galactic nuclei (AGN) and a few starburst galaxies. It provides high-level data products such as 3D spectral cubes, spectral energy distributions, and measured physical properties of AGN and their host galaxies from instruments like VLT/MUSE and VIMOS.
