Brown rats bycatch

The map shows how many brown rats were caught as bycatch per hour worked in 2018. The results are shown in 5x5 km of lofts, so-called hourly lofts. Rats can carry pathogens that can make people sick (zoonoses). Monitoring the spread of rats is important to assess public health risks.
