Yolkin restores cellular immune response and content of T and B cells in lymphoid organs of cyclophosphamide-immunocompromised mice

The effects of yolkin, administered in drinking water, on the contact sensitivity (CS) of BALB/c mice and associated immune parameters, following cyclophosphamide (CP) treatment, were investigated. The suppressed CS, measured by the ear edema, was restored by yolkin. Likewise, yolkin almost completely reversed the loss of T cells in the spleen and B cell in the bone marrow. On the other hand, the humoral immune response to ovalbumin was not affected. The results revealed a new immune reconstituting property of yolkin in immunocompromised mice.The detailed description of the dataset is presented in readme.txt file.The experimental methodology is included in the linked publication.
