The RNA-seq of total and polysome-associated mRNAs of HEK293T cells with ribosome shortage.

We induce a deficiency of eS26 in HEK293T cells which causes decreased levels of 40S ribosomal subunits in them and leads to a ribosome-shortage state. The RNA-seq of total and polysome-associated mRNAs allows the identification of thousands differentially expressed genes for each mRNA sets as well as genes with altered translational efficiency.
