It was 845, the total number of participants in the study, for all the following variables: socio-demographic characteristics, STI symptoms, antibiotic use, self-reported circumcision status and ever had sex with male of female partners. N was 654, the number of men who reported ever having had vaginal intercourse for the determinants age at first vaginal intercourse in years, the number of lifetime female partners with whom had vaginal intercourse and whether or not participants had vaginal intercourse in the past year.
