This study examines the impact of a high fat diet (HFD) on weight gain, body composition, plasma glucose/leptin/insulin, and liver steatosis in mice lacking normal levels of ASIC2 (ASIC2<sup>-/-</sup>) and βENaC (βENaC<sup>m/m</sup>).
