Microsoft SharePoint deployment type user share worldwide in 2018-2021

The share of Microsoft SharePoint users that use the cloud-based sharepoint has increased by 19 percentage points in the past four years. In 2021, around 86 percent of Microsoft SharePoint users utilized cloud-based SharePoint servers rather than on-premises servers. Whereas in 2018 around 67 percent used the cloud-based server.
