棉花作为我国新疆的主要经济作物, 是关系国计民生的战略物资。尤其在南疆区域种植棉花, 兼具生态和经济学意义。在塔克拉玛干沙漠南缘的新疆策勒荒漠草地生态系统国家野外科学观测研究站开展不同物候期棉花的连续多年生态观测可为绿洲农田生态系统的稳定、健康、高质量发展提供理论依据。本数据集统计了2005–2015年策勒站棉花不同物候期的生态观测数据, 主要包括棉花不同生育动态, 叶面积与地上生物量动态以及收获期产量等数据。数据的产生严格遵照CERN生物观测规范执行, 数据质量控制贯穿于长期观测的各个环节。本研究以期为掌握棉花群体发育和产量特征, 以及气候变化下棉花生长遥感动态监测提供数据支撑, 为区域棉花稳产高产提供理论参考。

Cotton, a major cash crop in Xinjiang, China, is a strategic material critical to the national economy and people's livelihoods. Cotton cultivation in the Southern Xinjiang region carries both ecological and economic significance. Consecutive multi-year ecological observations on cotton at different phenological stages conducted at the National Field Scientific Observation and Research Station of Desert Grassland Ecosystem in Cele, Xinjiang at the southern margin of the Taklamakan Desert can provide theoretical support for the stable, healthy and high-quality development of oasis farmland ecosystems. This dataset compiles ecological observation data of cotton at different phenological stages from the Cele Station during 2005–2015, mainly including dynamic data of cotton growth stages, leaf area and above-ground biomass, as well as harvest yield and other relevant data. The data generation strictly follows the biological observation specifications of the Chinese Ecosystem Research Network (CERN), with data quality control implemented throughout all stages of long-term observations. This study aims to provide data support for understanding the population development and yield characteristics of cotton, as well as dynamic remote sensing monitoring of cotton growth under climate change, and to offer theoretical references for stable and high-yield cotton production in the region.
