资源简介:

Memory B cells (MBCs) are key to upholding long-lived humoral immunity and providing protection against previously encountered pathogen/s. Delineating the molecular mechanisms which regulate B cell differentiation can provide insight into MBC formation and recall. In this thesis, we examined the role of the promyelocytic leukaemia protein (PML) in B cell responses. Through this, we reveal that PML is differentially expressed in B cell subsets and is a regulator of antigen-specific GC B cells, particularly during viral infection. These findings expand our understanding of how B cell responses are regulated, which may open doors to improving vaccine design.
