Data for the manuscript “<b>Warmer and wider river systems accelerate permafrost thaw on the Third Pole</b>”

This dataset provide key data of the study “<b>Warmer and wider river systems accelerate permafrost thaw on the Third Pole</b>”. This study investigates the dynamics of a representative permafrost river on the Third Pole and the corresponding changes of underlying permafrost. The results indicate a widening and warming trend of the river, which accelerates the sub-river permafrost thaw.本数据集为研究论文《更暖更宽的河网加速第三极多年冻土退化》（Warmer and wider river systems accelerate permafrost thaw on the Third Pole）提供核心研究数据。本研究聚焦第三极（Third Pole）地区一条典型多年冻土（permafrost）河流的动态变化过程，以及其下伏多年冻土的相应响应变化。研究结果表明，该河流正呈现出河道拓宽与水温升高的双重趋势，该趋势进一步加速了河道下方多年冻土的消融。
