Road Traffic Accident Data of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue, Metro Manila (2007-2016)

This data article contains road traffic accidents in Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue in Metro Manila covering a 10-year period starting from 2007 to 2016. It was obtained from Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) records through the Data for Road Incident Visualization, Evaluation, and Reporting (DRIVER) System. Primary sources of Metro Manila accident data are MMDA Metrobase, MMDA Road Safety Unit, and Philippine National Police’s Traffic Management Group. Aside from the descriptive location of the accidents, this data also includes temporal aspects such as the date and time of the accidents, as well as the corresponding severity categorized as Fatal, Injury, and Property Damage. Other significant information that are present in this data include the type of collision and the main cause of accident as assessed by the reporting agent. The data is stored in a tabular format which can be opened in various GIS software.
