DIDACTIC OPPORTUNITIES AND PROSPECTS FOR THE APPLICATION OF MULTIMEDIA TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING THEORETICAL MECHANICS

This article analyzes the scientific and pedagogical foundations of the use of multimedia technologies in the educational process, the stages of their formation and development, and the possibilities of their application within the higher education system. The influence of multimedia technologies on the cognitive process, their didactic functions, and their significance in teaching theoretical mechanics are revealed. Based on the experience of educational systems in developed countries, the role of multimedia tools in improving educational effectiveness is highlighted. The results of the study demonstrate that the systematic use of multimedia technologies in teaching theoretical mechanics contributes to improving students’ level of knowledge acquisition and the development of their professional competencies.
