Monthly global soil moisture reconstruction dataset with a spatial resolution of 0.25° spanning from 2001 to 2012. Based on the European Space Agency (ESA) ESACCI soil moisture dataset, this dataset fills the missing regions of the original data using a self-developed soil moisture reconstruction algorithm, resulting in spatially continuous soil moisture data.
