Funen: Migration from the Plumbers' and Pipe Fitters' Union, 1980

The survey was brought about at the request of the Plumbers' and Pipe Fitters' Union (Blikkenslager-, Sanitet- og Rørarbejderforbundet) in the district of Funen, which wanted Odense University to help them analyse the reasons why so many union members leave the union at a relatively early age. 1With a view to discovering why the members leave the Plumbers' and Pipe Fitters' Union and where they go to, a questionnaire was prepared and sent out to present and former members in May 1980. Among the central issues of the questionnaire are: occupation of present or former members of the Plumbers' and Pipe Fitters' Union, occupation of former members outside the Plumbers' and Pipe Fitters' Union, physical strain of their job, unemployment, activity in the union, satisfaction with the union, and political attitudes

本调查系应菲英岛地区管道工与管装配工工会（Blikkenslager-, Sanitet- og Rørarbejderforbundet）的委托发起，该工会恳请奥登塞大学协助分析为何诸多工会成员在相对较早的年龄段便退出工会。为探明工会成员退出该工会的原因及其后续去向，研究团队于1980年5月向现任及前任工会成员发放了调查问卷。本次调查问卷的核心调研议题包括：现任或前任工会成员的职业身份、前任工会成员离职后的职业状况、工作中的体力负荷情况、失业经历、工会参与活跃度、对工会的满意度以及政治立场。
