Peers and Levels of Stress (PaLS)

The cross-sectional schools-based PaLS was set up to investigate links between pupils’ peer group status and levels of stress, and the relationships which these both had with mental health and health behaviours like smoking. It surveyed 3,194 pupils in the final year of statutory education (Scottish Secondary 4 – S4, aged 15) in 22 schools in and around Glasgow City in 2006. Data and syntax are held in SPSS format.

本项基于学校的横断面PaLS研究旨在探究学生同伴群体地位与压力水平之间的关联，以及二者与心理健康、吸烟等健康行为之间的关系。研究于2006年对格拉斯哥市及周边地区22所学校内处于法定教育最后一年的学生（苏格兰中学四年级——S4，年龄15岁）开展调查，共纳入3194名学生。数据集与语法脚本均采用SPSS格式存储。
