Vespa velutina nigrithorax, Vespa mandarina and Vespa velutina auraria were three types of edible insects manually bred widely in mountainous areas of Yunnan Province, Guizhou Province and Sichuan Province in China and major aggressive species in China. Immediate anaphylactic reaction caused by their bee venom usually resulted in casualties. Until recently, the molecular basis of the allergic protein in Vespa velutina nigrithorax, Vespa mandarina and Vespa velutina auraria was completely unknown. In the research, label-free quantitative proteomic method was used for identification and analysis of components of venom proteins of 3 types of wasps and RT-qPCR and Western blot verification of alternative allergic protein genes so as to clarify specific protein and composition of venom of 3 types of wasps.
