The long-term mooring M1-4c was deployed in the Eurasian Basin of the Arctic Ocean at 78o28.084N (North) and 125o57.679E (East), 2700 meter (m) during the Nansen and Amundsen Basin Observational System (NABOS) 2018 cruise. It was successfully recovered on September 19, 2021. The primary goal of mooring Conductivity, Temperature, Pressure (CTD) observations was to understand the role of stratification in controlling transports of the Atlantic Water heat and other properties to the upper ocean and ice. Primary objectives included quantifying the structure and temporal variability of the main water masses and obtaining detailed information about upper ocean, halocline, and Atlantic water (AW) layer dynamics and seasonal variations. This data set contains separate text files with outputs of each Sea Bird Electronics (SBE)-37 instrument at M1-4c mooring. SBE-37 data file includes a one-row header with titles for all data columns. Processing SBE-37 records utilized standard data processing packages provided by vendors. Some records provided by SBE-37 instruments required corrections of salinity in order to remove vertical instabilities. Each data row includes observations of temperature in-situ, conductivity, pressure, salinity, and date/time stamp, which contains day, month, year, hour, minutes, and seconds of measurements. All SBE-37 instruments used Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) for this time stamp.
