This collection comprises images from an archaeological evaluation trenching on the A167 at Low Copelaw, Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. The work was undertaken on the 31st May 2023, by Pre-Construct Archaeology Ltd Durham and required prior to the construction of new junction and associated highways improvements. The investigation was commissioned by Durham County Council.
