Transcriptome effects of media and methotrexate on T-ALL cell lines

Human T-ALL cells become chemoresistant to multiple chemotherapies if exposed to adipocyte-secreted factors. To identifiy gene alterations underlying adipocyte-mediated chemoresistance, we performed RNA-sequencing analysis on untreated human T-ALL cells and those treated with the chemotherapy metotrexate. Human T-ALL cell lines (n=3; Jurkat, Loucy and Peer) were cultured in unconditoned, bone marrow stromal cell, or adipocyte-conditioned medium (CM) for 48 hours and then processed for RNA-sequencing.
