ECOD Classification of AFDB Swiss-Prot structure predictions

This dataset accompanies the manuscript “ECOD: Classification of domains in AFDB SwissProt structure predictions” and includes domain-level annotations, figure-generation scripts, and supporting data for the structural classification of over 1 million domains parsed from AlphaFold-predicted SwissProt proteins using the DPAM pipeline. It provides both the full set of predicted domains and the subset formally accessioned into the ECOD classification. All figures from the manuscript are reproducible from included R scripts and CSV inputs, and the dataset highlights areas of domain novelty, taxonomic breadth, and mapping gaps with Pfam. This resource supports structural bioinformatics analyses and is intended to facilitate reuse, reproducibility, and further investigation of functionally uncharacterized protein regions.
