WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from TEXAS in the NE Pacific from 1990-04-01 to 1990-05-01 (NODC Accession 9000116)

The data in this accession was collected in NE Pacific (limit-180) from ship Texas between April 9 to May 1, 1990. The real time data of water temperature at varying depth bathythermograph (XBT) was recorded in stripcharts by the US Navy. Thirty stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC. The XBT data from these stripcharts have been digitized and is present in the current NODC data storage system in C116 file format.

本次存档的数据集采集于东北太平洋（经度极限为-180°），采集作业由美国海军“德克萨斯”号舰船于1990年4月9日至5月1日期间开展。投弃式温深仪（Expendable Bathythermograph，XBT）采集的不同深度海水温度实时数据，由美国海军通过条带式记录仪纸带完成记录。本次共提交30份条带式记录仪纸带及船舶无线电通讯日志至国家海洋数据中心（National Oceanographic Data Center，NODC）。上述条带纸带上的XBT数据已完成数字化处理，目前以C116文件格式存储于当前NODC数据存储系统中。
