Multidrug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa has become a threating nosocomial pathogen worldwide. P. aeruginosa NCGM1984 clinical isolate harbors a metallo-beta-lactamase gene blaIMP-41 and aminoglycoside 6'-N-acetyltransferase gene aac(6') gene, which are associated with highly multidrug-resistance. In order to clarify the mechanism of the acquisition of drug-resistant genes, the complete genome sequence of the NCGM1984 was determined.
